The Vulcan 1500 Mean Streak was Kawasaki's blacked-out, performance-oriented version of its big 1500 cc V-twin cruiser. It kept the Vulcan engine but added digital fuel injection, a 43 mm inverted fork and sport-style front brakes. It was aimed at riders who wanted a custom look with better handling and braking than a standard cruiser.
